Sustainability Policy

At Fzin Coffee, sustainability is considered across the products we choose, the materials we use and the way we work with suppliers and customers.

Our aim is practical: reduce unnecessary waste, use better materials where viable and continue improving the environmental impact of our product range and operations.

Our commitments include:

• Reducing single-use plastic. We have spent the past two years reviewing packaging and product formats to remove conventional plastic where suitable alternatives are available.
• Supporting better coffee capsule materials. Our Aromatico capsules are TÜV Austria OK Compost HOME certified and OK Biobased 4-Star, with more than 80% biobased material. They contain no aluminium and no conventional plastic capsule.
• Choosing recyclable packaging. Our syrup range is supplied in recyclable glass bottles rather than conventional plastic syrup bottles.
• Avoiding palm oil in our beverage range. Our drinking chocolates, toppings and selected beverage products are palm-oil-free.
• Working with responsible suppliers. Our Italian coffee partner Mokador uses primarily green energy to power operations and  operates to ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
• Supporting tree planting. Fzin Coffee works with Treedom and contributes 5% of coffee sales towards tree planting.
• Reducing packaging waste. We look for opportunities to reuse, reduce and responsibly manage packaging throughout our supply chain and encourage customers to recycle or compost materials through the appropriate waste stream.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing process rather than a finished project. We will continue to review our products, packaging and supplier practices and make changes where they can deliver a meaningful environmental improvement without compromising product quality, safety or performance.
